Flood Regulation Reservoir - Ashalim B Solar Power Facility

As part of the design of the drainage system for the Ashalim plot B Solar Power facility, it was necessary to reduce the flow rates at Highway 211. In order to meet the requirement, detail design that included also hydraulic design for a regulating reservoir on the main stream channel entering the project area was performed. The reservoir includes an embankment that dams the channel, culvert for regulating flow, retention pond, and emergency spillway.
