Sharon South 111 Well
Sharon South 111 Well is located in the Ra`anana South interchange area, and it`s construction was coordinated with the design of road 531 loop.
This well is considered as a pilot for a dual-purpose well designed to supply potable water and inject desalinated water.
The borehole has been pre-adjusted to serve the stated above purpose, and is built of a double wall pipe that is filled with glass balls that serve as a filter.
The well equipment design included hydraulic design, as well as a detailed design for the pipes, pumping equipment, water treatment facility, electrical system and civil engineering. The well is expected to provide water at a flow rate of 250 m3/s, and to inject at a flow rate of about 200 m3/s during the winter months.
